ConditionFilter

A GameObject filter that passes every object while a set of plain conditions holds.

Namespace: Jungle.Primitives
Inherits: GameObjectFilter

Overview

ConditionFilter ignores the object being filtered and only looks at scene state: a key being held, a value in Data Storage, a timer, anything that is a Condition. All listed conditions must pass; an empty list passes everything.

Use it to switch a whole filter list on or off. Because every filter list stacks with AND logic, one ConditionFilter next to the regular tag or distance filters blocks the entire list while its conditions fail. Typical uses:

  • Stop a drag hand's normal grab while a modifier key is down, so the click can mean something else (shown in pickers as Condition, with a Bool Value condition reading Key Held).
  • Freeze a detector while a machine is working, by reading the machine's Working flag from Data Storage.
  • Open a drop zone only after a timer or a cycle has fired.

It is the mirror of GameObjectCondition: that one turns a GameObject filter into a condition, this one turns conditions into a GameObject filter.
